Quality Control

Engineering Africa’s management is dedicated to maintaining a comprehensive quality management system that complies with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This system ensures that every project we undertake is executed with the highest level of quality and precision.

Daily Monitoring

Our in-house Quality Control (QC) department conducts daily inspections to ensure ongoing quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Work Inspection

Regular updates on work inspection sheets are maintained, with each site having a designated QC monitor. Senior management drives strict controls to maintain our standards.

Outsourced Work

Any outsourced or sub-contracted work, such as specialized painting or hot-dip galvanizing, undergoes rigorous assessment to ensure quality before being assigned to trusted partners

Additional Quality Control Assurances

Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs) in accordance with ASME IX (for piping and vessels) and AWS D1.1 (for structural steelwork).

Welders are qualified under ASME IX and AWS D1.1 standards.

Data Books are compiled from the start of a project to final handover, ensuring thorough documentation for piping, vessels, and structural steel.

Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Testing is conducted as per client requirements, ensuring safety and reliability in our installations.

SAOGA Membership

We are a proud member of the South African Oil & Gas Alliance (SAOGA), which promotes the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry in South Africa and the broader Southern African region. This membership further strengthens our credibility and expertise in the oil and gas sector.

B-BBEE Status

Engineering Africa has achieved Level 1 B-BBEE status, which reflects our commitment to supporting the B-BBEE Amendment Act (No 46 of 2013) and the associated Codes of Good Practice (2007).
